Kelman Palhete

Kelman Palhete is a young and vibrant wine from Dão, the result of a harmonious blend of local white and red grape varieties. Elegant and fresh, it stands out for its minerality and gastronomic character, making it versatile at the table.

60% Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro and Jaén and 40% Encruzado and Malvasia Fina

Tasting notes:

• Color: clear and bright.

• Aroma: Delicate floral aromas and evident minerality.

• Palate: presents a growing acidity that supports the tannin and fruit on the palate, finishing with a saline touch that prolongs the aftertaste.

Ideal with light dishes such as salads, seafood and grilled fish, as well as vegetarian dishes.

Kelman Wines was founded in 2013 when Juliana Kelman returned to Dão to pursue her passion for wine. Located in Nelas, the brand produces elegant and authentic wines, highlighting the Encruzado grape variety and respecting the local terroir, earning national and international recognition.
