The Ladeira da Santa Colheita Tinto is a blend where we find freshness, balance and aromatic complexity, reflecting the unique characteristics of the Dão terroir.

Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Ruby with violet hues.

Aroma: Notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, and subtle floral nuances and sweet spices.

Palate: Medium-bodied, smooth and well-integrated tannins. Good acidity and freshness.

Food Pairing:

Ideal for dishes with tomato sauce, poultry and game meat such as venison.

Serving temperature: 14 –16 °C
Alcohol content: 13.5%

Ladeira da Santa emerged from a father and son family project, starting in 1997, with 10 hectares. Here we can witness a Dão that is somewhat different from the usual, but with all its climate and characteristics intact.

The vineyard is located in a valley where anything can happen. Due to changes, and without ever straying from its origins in relation to this project, we find the tradition of the grape varieties used, be they white or red, and in the bottle, all their evolutions are perceptible, from climate changes and their influence on the vineyard.
